After spending 3 hrs (from 6.30am) with Megan (our 5yr old), trying to watch ‘Hairspray’ (her choice – a fantastic film) through which she constantly chattered and asked questions, I was ready to climb a mountain.
Set off at 10.30am with our eldest (Christopher, 17) and my mum (Brenda, 63) and drove to Coniston. We climbed up to Levers Water where we endured all weather from glorious sunshine to snow and hail – it was a fantastic, spur of the moment kind of day that we all enjoyed. Family Update Feb 2008
Living in the Lake District there is no shortage of excellent views and I try to capture these as well as the family, children, dogs etc. Hopefully, there is a good selection. My particular favourite is the headless peacock - makes me smile ever time. Let me know what you think!
